Tenses

Step 1: Engage and Explore

To begin my presentation, I will engage the students by showing a YouTube video explaining the different tenses. My presentation is intended for high school students.

Step 2: Explain

I will further explain exactly what tense means, what it is, and the English tenses in general. I will give some of the useful definitions pertaining to tenses.

Step 3: Extend

I will then extend my mini-lesson by telling of some of the most common tenses used in english, and when to use each.

Step 4: Evaluate and E-search

A short quiz is provided at the end of my mini-lesson that deals with different sentences and correct tense use. I will go over the answers to the quiz with the class.
